If you've forgotten the PIN to activate your phone, you'll just need to contact your phone service provider: they'll ask for details to identify you, to be certain it really is your phone, and then they'll either tell you the PIN or issue a new one that you can change.
In future, make sure you have a record somewhere of your PINs. You mustn't carry them with you, but you can easily keep them somewhere, say at home, provided nobody could figure out what the number meant.
There are lots of clever ways to disguise or conceal PINs and other codes, but you'll have to think them up for yourself.
Just don't forget how you've hidden your PINs.
Otherwise, you could choose PINs that're easy to check: for example, part of a store sign you see when you're out shopping - part of their phone number, or the middle part of a Word on their sign.
