this is a social issue across any age group, but when you consider the risks of second hand smoke, you have to ask yourself the question, is it worth it?
Secondly, if this is a peer pressure question, are these folks really your friends. They are placing their habit/addiction/social requirement well ahead of your friendship.
We all have friends who smoke. Somewhere. But real friends respect each other enough to understand the need for space, not conditional/unconditional surrender of your own self expectations.
