Why are women so hot in uniform?

For many people, a person in uniform represents an authority figure, and they have a sexual fondness for that. Many women would say that a MAN in uniform is 'hot', too, hence the stereotypical 'male policeman as stripper' character.

Also -- uniforms are costumes. The people who design them want them to make the wearer look powerful, strong, confident, and so on.
