Is the new medication for pain called Savella available by prescription yet?

The drug was to have been shipped to wholesalers on April 28. I have seen some evidence online that some have received prescriptions already. That said, I haven't seen it listed in any online formularies yet. I would suggest that you call your prescribing drs office and speak to his nurse. S/he should be able to tell you if it is available locally.
