When were the twin towers erected?

The initial concept dates back to 1946 for a "World Trade Center" Development. There were numerous delays for a variety of reasons. However, demolition did not actually began until March 1966. The first tenants moved into the north tower in Dec 1970 with the first tenants moving into the south tower in Jan 1972. The ribbon cutting ceremony was in April 1973.
