Yes. The standard generated black and white code can be modified with the addition of colors and change in the actual structure of the code. For instance, the square-cornered edges can be rounded and curved. Colors can be added to various parts of the code. The background can be changed from white to include other colors or designs.

Most of these modifications require skill in using a program like Photoshop or Corel. It also requires careful testing as QR code readers will not be able to read codes that are beyond the limits of the reader software. A number of readers should be used for testing.

There are companies that will, for a fee, customize QR codes. This may include adding business logos or other specific designs. Other sources will allow you to purchase a pre-designed code style and they will both generate your website code and incorporate that code into the design you chose.
