How long should you wait for a guy that you've been seeing and says he loves you but does not want to date right now?

I don't know if you should wait at all. If he loves you why doesn't he want to date? Get yourself out there and experience other things because you will never know what you could miss if you hang around waiting. Tell him that you'll be there when he is ready but in the mean time you are not sitting around.
