Where to fill transmission fluid in land rover discovery series II?

Raise your vehicle, remove the oil fill plug and metal washer in the transmission pan,(located in the front of the pan) Fill with fluid until it runs out of the oil fill plug hole. Replace (quickly) the oil fill plug and snug it up. Lower the vehicle, then apply your emergency brake, depress your brake pedal.

Then start the vehicle, let it idle. engage your shifter into reverse,(remember, keep your foot on the brake while doing this!) then neutral, then drive, then 1,2,3. Do this a couple of times, (this circulates the fluid into the torque converter and every where else it needs to go).

Okay, then raise the vehicle, (while the engine is still running) remove the fill plug again, and fill it up again until about a 2 millimeter stream of fluid runs out of the oil fill plug hole. Quickly replace the oil plug again and this time, tighten it up for good.

You are good to go!!!!
