If you were to use the Word "Cheerleading" in a French context, it would definitely be a masculine noun, as all -ing loan Words are (e.g. le parking, le planning, le meeting, etc.). As you may know, because the idea of cheerleading does not exist in Europe, there really isn't a proper translation.
