How many Georgia governors were members of Repubcan party during the 20Th century?

During the 20th century, there were five Republican governors of Georgia. These were Eugene Talmadge, who served non-consecutively in the 1940s, and later governors such as Carl Sanders, Lester Maddox, George Busbee, and Sonny Perdue, who took office in the early 2000s. The Republican Party began to gain more influence in Georgia towards the latter part of the century, especially after the 1990s.
