Where is the pcm on a mercury mountaineer?

For the 1997 to 2001 Mercury Mountaineer :

The Powertrain Control Module ( PCM ) is located in the engine

compartment . You will see where the wiring harness is bolted to

one end of the PCM . It passes through the firewall ( most of the

PCM is " hidden " behind the glove compartment area
