Gemini is a constellation based on the Zodiac. the zodiac concept is not Greek, it started in the Sumerian civilization, the ancestors of the Jews. Some says it is a prophetic picture of the twelve tribes of Israel. the tribe of Yosef of Egyptian fame was represented by his two sons. When Ya'akov gave his Blessings (Jacob's Blessing's), he blest the two boys (a portion each) as representing Yosef's tribe.
