Could the United States of America Take Over the World?

The United State's could take over Canada and gain their huge amount of oil reserves, then all of South America pretty easily. Then the United State's would most likely go for all of the countries in the Pacific with it's western fleet taking Japan, Austraila and knocking out China and hurting Russia horribly and go for Africa, Greenland, Iceland and succeed. Then depending if NATO was on America's side and rather join the U.S. or go to war against it. If NATO joined the United State's then Russia and China would have no chance the rest of the world could lay down no defence. If England, Germany, France, Israel, South Korea, Russia, and China all attacked the United State's then the U.S. would be able to remain on the defence holding it's ground due to it's huge navy, unbeatable airforce and technology. The only Chance for the United State's to take over the world would be for the United State's to destroy most of all the world's Navy and Military targest at the same time, which is very possible. With the use of Nuclear weapons the United State's would certainly win due to it being the only country with ICBM missle defence systems. Or countries might just want to join the United States starting with Canada, South America and Europe. Just like how Rome took over Grece(they asked Rome to).
