Does anyone have the last name Hitler today?

They are not common in Austria, partly because the name Hitler was originally spelled Heidler. After the war many families adopted alternate spellings such as Huttler, and the paternal line from Adolf's father Alois Hitler has no direct descendants who are using the name.
