Near absolute advantages to global economics are mono and duopolies. On one hand they allow for states and economies without infrastructure to enjoy such good and services without investment into cost prohibitive research and development. A prime example is Boeing and Airbus who design and produce the world's finest commercial and military aircraft through such an near absolute advantage.
