Connecticut birth records less than 100 years old can only be obtained by the registrant, spouse, parent, guardian, grandparent, child, grandchild, or legal representative. Birth records more than 100 years old are available to anyone over 18. Birth records can be obtained from the town where the birth took place or from the Connecticut Department of Public Health State Office of Vital Records. You must provide verification of the relationship and valid government ID.
