How long was Samuel de Champlain's 1ST voyage?

First Voyage

Champlain left port from Spain (he had been sent to Spain for war) for his first voyage in 1589. He went to the West Indies, then Mexico, then stopped at Central America to explore. Champlain returned to his homeland, France in 1601.
