I think it's called a vertice, and there are 3 vertices in a triangle. -- WRONG

CORRECTION- it is NOT called a vertice. A vertice is each angle point, there ARE three vertices in a triangle but they the point of each angle.

Now, a segment connecting the midpoints of two sides of a triangle is called a mid-segment. There are three mid-segments in a triangle.
