When did Charles II become king?

CharlesII was king of Scotland from 30th JAN 1649- 3rd SEPT 1651, then (AFTER HE WAS EXILED) he was later king of England, Scotland and Ireland from 29th MAY 1660- 6th FEB 1685. The New Parliament decided to restore the monarchy and the House of Lords in 1660. They Invited Charles II to become king of England - a very popular decision.
