Come on, get serious! 2 weeks is not enough time to make much of a difference even if you started in pretty good shape. Who buys this book? People who are overweight and out of shape. They have a history of not sticking with a program that goes on and on for months. The absolutely best outcomes at the end of 2 weeks would be you have decided on an exercise program you can follow almost daily. You have cut out many or most unhealthy food items in your diet and have cut your calories enough that you notice it on the scales. Most quick weight lossprograms depend on water loss to make you think you are losing fast. Cutting back on salt and fluids can cause a 10 lb weight loss in just a few days. There is no program nor will there ever be a program that in 2 weeks could make a significant difference in health, weight and fitness, especially in someone who is starting out far from those goals.
I am a physician who has created and directed a fitness program lasting 12 weeks. It takes a lot of reprogramming to turn someone's life around like that. Over about 10 years I worked with more than 1000 patients. All of them complained it was tough to stick with the program because they lived in a society that celebrated unhealthy diets and lifestyles. It is worse now. McDonalds has a new burger with 4 patties, one for each chamber of your heart! Kids meals eating out often contain more than 1000 calories. "Supersize me" and "all you can eat" is the norm when eating out. Many grocery stores are the size of 2 football fields. Their carts are so big that when full many people need motor assistance to push it.
