What are the cons of using hybrid golf clubs?

The great thing is, there are no cons. They are so easy to hit, very workable and very forgiving. They are long enough that you can hit them off any tee and still go for the green with a reasonable club. If you wanted to be very picky, they can be expensive and are not really that effective from thick rough. Nearly all the pros carry one so they must be good.
