How fast can a john deere spitfire snowmobile go?

We had a 1981 JD spitfire. My brother measured the speed with a pickup truck driving on the road with me riding along side in the ditch in packed snow. We got up to 55 mph. Had a little left on the throttle but it was as fast as I dared!
