Humanistic more like a philosophy than a science?

Humanism is way of thinking. Humanists believe that right is what pleases man and wrong is anything that man dislikes. They don't believe in God. It is a way of thinking and therefore isn't able to be studied by science. Basically if it is an ideal or emotion it can't be studied in science.
