The first photo camera, developed by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce in the early 19th century, took about eight hours to capture an image. This lengthy exposure time required subjects to remain completely still, as any movement would blur the photograph. The resulting image, taken in 1826 or 1827, is known as "View from the Window at Le Gras."
