Checking out the girl doesn't necessarily means he likes her, so you might still be in luck with this guy even though he wants to rock the casbah with other girls from what you said. Or he may be a liar and in fact does like the girl. But hey, he's a guy, so whaddya expect?

Then again, he may just be gay and is admiring this girl's keen sense of fashion. You better find out either way just to be sure ;)
