What are some psychological implications for adolescent age?

Adolescents feel more rebelious around parents, supervisors, et cetera and try to become both exactly alike and completely different from other adolescents, usually around their age. At this time, they can be easily influenced by anything around them, including atmosphere, conversation, and, normally strongest, friends. The internet and phones is also an important part of an adolescent's life, and they enjoy communicating with others, but will rarely obey a parent/guardian. Many females try to become more "beautiful", and males conform to unsaid "rules" about popularity. Many adolescents take out restless energy on others that they believe are "under" them, IE, younger siblings and classmates, so-called nerds and "unpopular" students left out of the loop.
