What does it mean when your boyfriend tells you he wants to take a break because everything is out of control?

I've had this problem before, so youre not alone by any means. Many guys will say this, and half the time they actually mean it. When they just use it as an excuse, then they probably just want to break up and are to lazy to dfind another reason. But when they truly mean that it's out of control he could mean that he feels too much pressure to continue his life the way he has been/wants to keep living. This may be the result of you wanting to change up his life a little too much, or maybe it is because he is under stress for other things, like work or friends. Either way, talk to him about it and see what it is that's bothering him. If he continues to be distant, accept that he may no longer have feelings for you and move on. Good luck!
