How many months can you keep unused makeup?

It is best to throw it away if you are not using it. If it is more than a few months old, it will have bacteria in it that can give you skin problems. Best thing is to toss useless makeup, because it is truly useless.

It all depends on what you use to apply your make-up. Our fingers carry bacteria and most people do not wash their hands long enough to remove much. So I would say if you are using your fingers to apply your make-up, 2-3 months, this is even a long time.
