Recommended Vitamin C intake for males and females ages 0-6 months is 40 mg. If you are a 7-12 month male and female, the maximum intake is 50 mg. Males and females aging from 1-3 years old should consume no more than 15 mg. Ages 4-8 should consume no more than 25 mg Vitamin C. A maximum of 30 mg should be consumed by those aging from 9-13. For ages 14-18, males should consume no more than 75 mg and females 65 mg. For males 19 years and older, the maximum dosage of Vitamin C is 90 mg; for females in the same age range, 75 mg.
