How do you delete messages in Gmail without opening them?

To delete messages in Gmail without opening them, go to your inbox and hover over the email you want to delete. Click the checkbox that appears to the left of the email. After selecting the desired emails, click the trash can icon at the top of the page to delete them. You can also use the "Select all" checkbox to delete multiple messages at once.
