What happens when mix alcohol and zopiclone?

Zopiclone is a sedating medication primarily used as a sleep-aid. Both alcohol and zopiclone depress your central nervous system. The effects of mixing these two drugs is an increase in BOTH drugs. In combination, they have the potential to depress your already depressed central nervous system. This will not be fatal in all cases, but in some cases you may not get lucky. Mixing alcohol with any CNS depressants is not the best idea. But if you are experienced, you may enjoy it.
