When's the next doctor who season coming out and who are the main characters?

The next Doctor Who season airs in America and the UK on August 23rd, on BBC One. Often PBS will also air the show too. The main characters are going to be The Doctor, as played by Peter Capaldi and The Incredible Girl or Clara Oswald. Other people from previous episodes like Strax will be in some episodes, but it appears thus far the two main characters will only be The Doctor and Clara.
