Was Barack Obama involved for Acorn?

Yes and no. He worked for three different organizations in Chicago as a community organizer and advocate for the poor. One was Project Vote, and another was a group run by the Catholic Church. A third was run by ACORN. It should be noted that back then, the organization known as ACORN was considered no more and no less disreputable than any other group that helped the poor. It was much later when certain conservative Talk Shows decided to focus on ACORN as an example of something negative. But at the time, all of the groups Mr. Obama worked for were considered typical of groups that helped poor residents of Chicago with issues like finding housing, educational opportunities, job training, and legal aid.
