What color should you paint your bath ceiling if walls are light green and have 10 foot smooth ceilings?

More and more people are embracing the idea of coloured ceilings. The great thing about decorating a bathroom is you can "go a little wild." It's not like your are going to be spending a lot of time in there.

So, you could play it safe and paint it white.

You could make it easy on the painter and use the same colour as the walls.

You could enhance the height by using a lighter shade of the wall colour.

A soft yellow would make the room sunny looking, always good in a small space (bathrooms don't usually have big Windows.

A sky blue, would make the ceiling "go away."

Or you could go dark. A deep green, would "bring the ceiling down" a medium green would reflect "greener" through out, or my favourite in a bathroom is a colour I call, just past midnight blue. It's a bold step, but one several of my clients have asked for after seeing my studio.
