Depends on how many layovers you have, and how long they are. My first flight from Baltimore to Qatar had a layover in Germany. It took us 20 hours, including a 1-hour layover at Ramstein (20 hours total travel time, without adjustments for time zones). Going home, we stopped in Kuwait, Germany, and Shannon, Ireland. Total time from Qatar to Baltimore was 26 hours actual travel time.
