What is the firing order for a 1986 Jaguar XJ6 also which plug on the distributor is number 1 and does it run clockwise or counter?

The firing order is 153624 with the number 1 being closest to the FIREWALL on the engine. Very important when timing the car. The distributer runs counter clockwise, and the numder 1 position on the distributor is to the left of the top retaining screw or clip when standing at the side of the car looking directly at the distributor. As far as I'm aware, this holds true for the xj6 1981-86. Hope this helps.
