How do i change a starter on a 1990 Volvo 240 I can't get the 18mm socket in the tight space I bought a universal and it still doesnt fit Any advice?

i just changed the starter yesterday, youl need a 90 degree pivit adapter plus a3/4 inch shallow socket plus 10-14 inches of extension and possibly abreaker bar on ratchet handle. good luck spray w-d40 first Ike
