When to replace a timing belt on a Mazda cx9?

The 3.5L V6 used in the 2007 CX-9 and the 3.7L V6 used since 2008 both feature a timing chain instead of a timing belt. Unlike timing belts, timing chains are much more durable and do not require periodic replacement. They are designed to last for the entire life of the engine.
