How to cook tapioca in a microwave?

Boutta find out rn. Have some spare tapioca pearls lying around.

Popped some balls in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl and a liberal ammount of water. So far I hypothesize it will cook like quiona

It's been 1 minute. Bubbling. Most of the water is gone (steam?) so I added a LOT more.

1 more minute. Water is ubbling. No outward change.

3 minutes, some of the pearls have gotten smaller and mot of the water was gone. I added more water. The bowl was too hot when I added the water and it chipped my favorite bowl.

Do not cook tapioca in the microwave.
