Should gerbils eat toilet paper rolls?

Yes, but i wouldn't let it chew on it because it could ruin his teeth. Guinea pigs are great at gnawing wood and stuff, but if it accidentally eats the cardboard of a toilet paper role it could make him sick or choke him to death.
