Its pretty easy for the most part. Make sure your engine is cool first.
Remove the belt.
take the fan shroud and fan off. Unbolt it from the engine.
Disconnect the hoses that hook to the pump. have something ready to catch the coolant.
BE CAREFUL UNBOLTING THE PUMP IF THE BOLT ISN'T COMING UNDONE WITH JUST A LITTLE PRESSURE TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC. YOU WILL OTHERWISE BREAK THE BOLT AND HAVE AN INOPERABLE CAR.
Replace with a new pump. dont worry about putting on gasket sealant. Just make sure to coat the new bolts so that they wont corrode.
Reconnect the hoses then fan & shroud at the same time.
Put the belt back on then make sure to refill the coolant and run it a while to get the air out of the system.
Once the coolant levels are back to normal, you should be good to go
