What is came first egg or cock?

An egg is one of the many products of a cock, i.e, a hen, while a cock is the only product of an egg. Even if an egg does not hatch, a cock can lay another egg and try continuation of it's generations. But even if a cock doesnot hatch out of it, an egg cannot give birth to another creature. Anyway, the cock is dominant and prominent. It is only logical to assume that the cock came first, as part of a package of bio-chemical creations presented to this world by protozoas. It is however interesting to observe the unending cycle of a cock coming out of an egg and an egg coming out of a cock, the initiation of which cycle remains a mystery. In fact it is only one of the long line of mysteries Nature still keeps to herself and has not cared to reveal to man. Let it remain so for a while more, because such suspense and anxiety is what sustains human life on this planet.
