What can salvinia do to Crystal Waters Lagoons?

Salvinia Molesta is an aquatic weed that covers the top of the waters surface in only a few days; this is called an infestation. It stops the exchange of oxygen from the air to the water. It would affect the food chain of the lagoons, kill the flora and fauna, and take over the wetlands.
