How do you get a good simple jumping score on horseisle?

You're going to want great tack. Jack rabbit tack really, but if you can't afford that work up to jumping tack, which you can buy in Appleton I believe.

Then you want a draft horse, a horse that can have great strength.

Breed doesn't matter so much as the combination on speed and strength you achieve with tack/foal.

  • Try using a mix of Hercules and Pegasus, maybe even Icarus depending on your horses breed, anything to get the maximum combination of speed and strength. If you cannot afford these the next steps down are Heavy weight, Jackrabbit, and Fireball.
  • Small tip I got from a bud with a top score: wear an equestrian helmet, jumping shirt, jumping breeches and jumping boots. That will give one extra big jump.
  • Also high UT's (Untrainables) seem to help, I cannot prove this but I've never got as good a score with a horse with 85- UTs as I have with 85+ UTs, so draw your own conclusions.
