How does the swastika look like?

The German Nazi flag has a red backround white circle in the middle with a thing that looks like a black spider with 4 legs

The German Word for Swastika is Hakencruz or bent cross. The swastika is a simple cross (+) and at each "leg" it has a branch that is perpindicular to the leg and all pointing to the Left.


This symbol is an ancient symbol that was used by many cultures. The Nazi version is the same but it is rotated so the main legs of the cross(+) are at 45-degrees from horizontal.
