How do you change Toyota 4 runner parking light?

To replace the front parking light, which on a 1999 4 runner is outboard of the headlight do the following:

1. Open the hood.

2. There is one Phillips head screw just above the light housing. Remove it.

3. The whole light housing will then slide out.....straight towards the front. There is a pin type clip in a hole that will create a little resistance. Just pull straight forward to release the housing.

4. Press down on the wiring clip release tab (on the side of the clip) and release.

5. The bulb holder is removed with a quarter turn counterclockwise.

6. Pull the bulb straight out.

7. Replace bulb...and reverse instruction to reinstall. Note: The bulb holder has 4 tabs that need to be inserted through the tab holes in the housing. Two of the tabs are wider than the other two. Be sure to align them with the two wider tab holes for proper installation.
