Was Czechoslovakia an axis power

During WW2, Czechoslovakia was divided amongst Hungary, Austria, and Germany through a series of annexations and invasions. Though the high leaders of the government fled to England and established government-in-exile, the country itself was controlled by Axis powers throughout the course of the war.
