What is the scientific name of the ironwood tree?

There are several refrences to "ironwood" trees :

• The hornbeam tree (Carpinus betulus) or hop-hornbeam (Ostrya carpinifolia).
• The "desert ironwood" (Olneya tesota).
• The Ceylon Ironwood or rose chestnut (Mesua ferrea)
• The Catalina Ironwood (Lyonothamnus Floribundus ssp. Asplenifolius)

In addition, the ebony tree (DiOSpyros ebenum and DiOSpyros crassiflora) is sometimes referred to as ironwood.
