If I want to convert my decimal into a mixed fraction I need to pay attention to the place value so as you can see since the 10 is in the tens place that time is going to be our denominator since the 1 is in the tenths place that's going to be our numerator and since that one is in the tens place we are going to put one as a whole number so as our total fraction it will be one whole one over 10
