What is iron and Stoney meteorite?

Iron meteorites are primarily composed of iron and nickel, making them dense and metallic in appearance. They are believed to originate from the cores of differentiated planetary bodies that were shattered by collisions. Stony meteorites, on the other hand, consist mainly of silicate minerals and can further be classified into chondrites and achondrites, with chondrites containing small spherical grains called chondrules.
